People come to Islamic Family for support with security, safety and growth. We serve 4500 clients every month, run Edmonton's second largest food bank, provide aid in financial crises, support victims of gender-based violence, settle refugees, and deliver a range of preventative programming for youth.
For more than 30 years, Islamic Family has been serving the Edmonton community. Our services are open to all.
Islamic Family is an Imagine Canada accredited charity, the winner of the Government of Alberta's Inspiration Award for its work combating domestic violence (2020), the Canadian Mental Health Associations Professional Service Award (2020), and the Government of Alberta's Community Justice Award (2022) for its innovative and transformative counselling support groups.
